Job Title: Pharmacy Manager / Supervising Pharmacist (PIC)
Position Summary
The Pharmacy Manager / Supervising Pharmacist (PIC) is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role provides leadership to the pharmacy team, supports workflow efficiency, and promotes high-quality patient care. The PIC plays a key role in shaping pharmacy operations, mentoring staff, and delivering essential services to the community.
Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, verification, and patient counseling

Develop and implement pharmacy workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures

Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Supervise, mentor, and support pharmacy staff to maintain efficient operations

Provide clinical services including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and patient counseling

Monitor inventory, medication safety, and quality assurance processes

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of controlled substances

Foster a positive team culture and promote professional development

Support business growth and improvement of pharmacy services
Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in New York State

Eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC)

Previous community or retail pharmacy experience preferred

Knowledge of New York State pharmacy law and federal regulations

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Immunization certification or willingness to obtain
