The primary responsibilities of this role include providing direct patient care, administering medications and treatments, and educating patients and their families about their health condition or recovery. The RN will also be responsible for creating patient care plans and ensuring they are followed as well as monitoring and recording patient condition.

Additional duties include coordinating with doctors and other healthcare professionals for creating and evaluating customized care plans. The RN will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment in the healthcare facility, performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and discussing findings with patients.

The RN will also be responsible for supervising and training LPNs and nursing assistants, ensuring all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met, and keeping a record of patients' symptoms, medical history, and all the treatment given to them.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a nursing degree from a recognized nursing program, a valid nursing license, and a valid CPR certification. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures, a strong understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations and procedures, and excellent knowledge of emergency care.

In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times is a must. The candidate should have a compassionate and patient nature, excellent physical endurance, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The candidate should also have a proven experience as a registered nurse, in-depth knowledge of hospital procedures, and a deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines. The ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams is also required. The candidate should also be proficient in using healthcare software and computer databases.
