Position Summary
Grand Ave Pharmacy, a growing community pharmacy located in Pflugerville, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, communicating with healthcare providers, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Responsibilities

Receive, review, and fill prescriptions accurately and safely

Communicate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding prescriptions and patient medications

Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications

Accurately measure, prepare, and dispense medications according to physician orders

Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory and reorder medications as needed

Verify the legality and appropriateness of prescriptions

Maintain accurate patient records and review PMP when required for controlled substances

Organize and maintain pharmacy products to ensure efficiency and compliance

Ensure medications are properly stored, labeled, and monitored for expiration

Provide patient education and address medication-related questions

Comply with all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program

Active Texas State Board of Pharmacy license required

Texas Sterile Compounding Certification – Required

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment
