Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Duties:
The primary responsibilities of this role include providing advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting within a specialized area such as family practice, pediatrics, or geriatrics. The Nurse Practitioner will be expected to diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, independently or as part of a healthcare team. The role also involves prescribing medication and making referrals to medical specialists when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive and problem-focused physical examinations.
2. Diagnose and treat common acute injuries and illnesses.
3. Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
4. Prescribe medication, physical therapy, or other treatments.
5. Provide primary care to specific patient groups or communities.
6. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
7. Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals as needed.
8. Counsel patients about their health and wellness.
9. Educate patients and their families on how to manage their health and prevent disease.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in nursing.
2. Valid nurse practitioner license.
3. Proven experience as a nurse practitioner.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations.
6. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Strong understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
9. Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
10. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
11. A patient and friendly personality, with a desire to help people, is essential.
