Overview - We are seeking an experienced and clinically strong Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our aesthetic medical spa. This role is responsible for providing injectable aesthetic treatments, PRP facial and joint procedures, and conducting Good Faith Exams (GFEs) via telemedicine in accordance with state regulations and medical director oversight. The ideal candidate combines advanced clinical judgment with strong aesthetic skills, excellent documentation practices, and a patient-centered, safety-first approach.
Key Responsibilities - Clinical Care and Procedures
● Perform aesthetic injectable treatments, including: Botox and other neuromodulators, Dermal fillers, Perform PRP procedures, including: PRP facials, PRP joint injections (e.g., knee, shoulder, elbow; basic hip preferred)
● Conduct patient assessments to determine treatment candidacy
● Educate patients on procedures, risks, benefits, alternatives, and post-care instructions
● Recognize and manage adverse events and complications in accordance with established protocols Telemedicine and Good Faith Exams
● Perform Good Faith Exams via HIPAA-compliant telemedicine platforms prior to aesthetic or regenerative procedures
● Conduct thorough medical histories, review of systems, and risk assessments
● Determine medical appropriateness for treatment and document clearance or deferral
● Ensure patient identity verification and informed consent during telehealth visits Documentation and Compliance
● Complete accurate and timely SOAP notes and procedure documentation
● Document Good Faith Exams in compliance with state and medical board requirements
● Obtain and document informed consent for all procedures
● Maintain before-and-after photo documentation as required
● Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and sharps safety standards
● Practice within scope under medical director supervision and standardized procedures Professional Collaboration
● Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and clinical team
● Follow established protocols while exercising independent clinical judgment
● Participate in quality assurance, training, and protocol updates as needed a
Required Qualifications
● Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
● Board certification (FNP or AGNP preferred)
● Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
● Experience working under physician supervision or standardized procedures
● Strong knowledge of facial and joint anatomy
● Demonstrated experience with Botox and dermal fillers
● Experience with PRP preparation and administration
● Telemedicine experience, including Good Faith Exams
● Excellent clinical judgment and patient screening ability
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
● Advanced injectable training and certifications
● Experience with both needle and cannula filler techniques
● Experience managing injectable complications (e.g., vascular occlusion, asymmetry)
● Experience with landmark-based joint injections
● Prior experience in an aesthetic medical spa or regenerative practice
