LPN/RN

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This includes monitoring patient health, administering medication, and performing routine procedures like taking vitals and drawing blood.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
2. Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
3. Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
4. Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention.
5. Maintain accurate patient medical records.
6. Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.

Requirements:

1. Current RN or LPN license in the state of employment.
2. Proven experience as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
3. In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times.
4. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in English (oral and written).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills.
7. BLS and ACLS certification.
8. Ability to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays.
9. Physical and mental fitness to handle the demands of long hours and stressful situations.

The successful candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help maintain and improve patient health. We expect you to be trained in CPR and first aid as well as to be a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.
