Job Title: Medical or General Ophthalmologist

Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical or General Ophthalmologist to join a busy and well-established ophthalmology practice. This role offers an immediate patient base supported by a strong referral network and modern clinical resources. The practice provides a fully staffed environment and advanced technology to support efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive ophthalmology care including diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions

  • Manage a schedule of approximately 50–60 patients per day

  • Perform medical and surgical ophthalmology procedures as appropriate

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic and laser technology for patient care

  • Collaborate with referring optometrists and other healthcare providers

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the NextGen EMR system

Qualifications

  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Ophthalmology

  • Eligible for hospital credentialing and privileges

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected earnings: $300,000 – $400,000+ with base salary and productivity bonus

  • Established patient base with strong OD referral network

  • Access to local hospital ASC with 1/4 EMTALA call requirement

Education Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
Must have a Associate’s Degree
Must have a High School Diploma
Good to have a PhD/Doctor’s Degree
Good to have a Master’s Degree
