Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care to individuals across the lifespan. This role includes evaluating patient health, diagnosing medical conditions, developing treatment plans, and promoting preventive care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing

  • Diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans

  • Prescribe medications and provide pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies

  • Provide preventive care including well-child exams, adult physicals, and sports physicals

  • Manage and monitor chronic illnesses and ongoing patient conditions

  • Administer immunizations and perform routine health assessments

  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state

  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) license/certification required

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in family practice

  • Strong diagnostic, clinical, and treatment planning skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and maintaining patient confidentiality
