Ascend Living Solutions LLC is seeking a dependable Registered Nurse to provide clinical oversight for a small assisted living home currently in development. The RN will help establish nursing procedures, support staff readiness, and oversee resident care once the facility is licensed and operational.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and a commitment to respectful, person-centered care.- Complete resident nursing assessments and reassessments, including evaluations when health needs change.
- Develop and update individualized service plans with residents, their representatives, and the care team.
- Oversee medication management, review medication records, and coordinate with prescribers and pharmacies.
- Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to qualified staff, provide resident-specific instructions, and document competency.
- Train and supervise caregivers performing delegated nursing tasks.
- Monitor resident health, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate appropriate medical follow-up.
- Provide nursing consultation and participate in an established on-call coverage arrangement.
- Maintain accurate assessments, nursing notes, delegation records, and staff training documentation.
- Support infection prevention, fall prevention, emergency procedures, and resident safety.
- Work with the assisted living director to evaluate staffing needs and whether the home can safely meet each resident’s care needs.
- Assist with clinical policies, quality improvement, survey preparation, and corrective actions.
