Job Title: Medical Weight Loss Provider

Position Summary

The Medical Weight Loss Provider is responsible for delivering comprehensive, non-surgical weight management services in a patient-centered clinical setting. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients in achieving sustainable health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care and committed to improving patient outcomes through ongoing guidance and education.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized medical weight loss treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes
  • Provide ongoing counseling and education on nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits, and weight management strategies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice, as appropriate
  • Build long-term relationships with patients to support sustained health improvements
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Promote a positive patient experience while maintaining high standards of clinical care

Qualifications

  • Active healthcare provider license in the applicable state required
  • Previous experience in weight management, primary care, family medicine, or related specialty preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient counseling skills
  • Passion for preventive medicine and long-term patient wellness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Schedule

  • Full-time: 32–36 hours per week
  • Part-time: 8–16 hours per week
  • PRN and temporary opportunities available
  • Flexible schedule; travel between clinic locations may be required for full-time positions

Compensation & Benefits

  • $75 per hour
  • Compensation based on scheduled hours

Education Requirements:

Must have a Master’s Degree
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
Must have a High School Diploma

Skill Requirements:

Must have 1+ years of experience in Patient advocacy
Must have 1+ years of experience in Health promotion
Nice to have knowledge in Chronic disease management
Must have 1+ years of experience in Interprofessional collaboration
Nice to have knowledge in Health education
Must have 1+ years of experience in Treatment planning
Must have 1+ years of experience in Medication management
Must have 1+ years of experience in Clinical diagnosis
Nice to have knowledge in Patient assessment
Nice to have knowledge in Preventive care
