Medical Technologist

Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results. Prepare and analyze samples, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids, while adhering to strict safety and quality control standards. Document and report findings in a timely manner, collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret results and provide insights for patient care. Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training as required.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent from a recognized accrediting body. Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to healthcare staff and patients. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems and electronic medical records.
